U&SLUNO a.s. company became an expert partner of SAMOŠKA, congress for the independent market, that takes place in Plzeň on 9th and 10th of June 2010. Following Brno, České Budějovice, Hradec Králové and Ostrava, the west Bohemian metropolis is the fifth host of the meeting of retailers, suppliers, producers and other representatives of the Czech business.

U&SLUNO will join the panel discussion on topic „How to streamline the supply of traditional stores and to reduce logistics costs“. Mrs. Marta Nováková, General Manager and Chairwoman of the board of directors of company, will contribute to the debate on the possibilities leading to the effective logistics and optimal operation of wholesale and distribution centres mainly by the knowledge from long term cooperation at elaboration of analyses and implementations of information systems solutions for both the Czech and foreign markets.

U&SLUNO "Runs" for life"

Through both the active running and the financial help of charity event Tesco Run for life we tied with the program of Childhood Cancer Foundation Krtek (Mole) that supports the complex care for infant, child, and youth cancer patients. The second annual Tesco Run for life took place in five cities accross the Czech Republic – in Plzeň, Brno, Ostrava, Pardubice and Prague.

The main aim of Krtek Foundation is to raise funds and awareness to conquer childhood cancer. These funds support the work of the Children\\\\\\\\\\'s Oncology Department of Faculty Hospital in Brno, dedicated to discovery and search for comprehensive cures for infants, children, teens and young adults with cancer. The funds raised by KRTEK are channelled into KRTEK´S advocacy, re-socialisation and education efforts on behalf of children with cancer and their families, into treatments not covered by health care system, as well as departmental clinical and biological research.

Information technology for practise

We warmly invite you to the further annual international conference Information technology for practise that is traditionally held under the auspices of VŠB – Technology university of Ostrava and the Czech association for system integration. We became Regional office of the Czech Confederation of Commerce and Tourism

U&SLUNO represents the activities of the Czech Confederation of Commerce and Tourism within Moravskoslezský region. The activities of the regional office are aimed mainly at the support of regional actions, cooperation with the Czech Chamber of Commerce, local government and other institutions as well as with member companies and associations. Our company joined SPIS

On 12^th May 2009 the membership of U&SLUNO in the Association for Information Society (SPIS) has been endorsed at the regular meeting of its board of directors. Thus we joined a group of important subjects operating in the Czech market of information and communication technologies that within this asscociation cooperate and promote the basic target and idea of SPIS - to create an information company.

Few words about SPIS: 
The Association for Information Society (SPIS) was founded in March 1998 as a professional organization of enterprises operating in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector. SPIS wants to increase the perception of the importance of modern information technology as the basis tool for the creation of effective administration, such a necessary condition for the integration of the Czech Republic into the European structures and for the increase of the competitive strength of the Czech companies. Through its activities the association supports the creation of real global information company. Particular members of the association represent an industry segment that achieves smooth increase, has a huge dynamics, forms a significant part of economy and above all creates interesting opportunities for the future.

Marta Nováková invests in DAY D

Day D represents the Czech version of worldwide successful format Dragon’s Day. Day, when an ambitious businessman, owner of smaller or bigger company or innovator with original idea is invited to a hidden place and he is given a chance to gain financial means to realize his dreams. However, he must impress five successful and experienced investors of his business plans and to offer them share in his enterprise. If he manages to show his project as worth investing, he gets the money, contacts and skills that he needs to further develop his activities. 

And who are the investors? Five experienced entrepreneurs and businessmen that became successful in their field of business through their diligence and enthusiasm. They understand their work, are not afraid of new challenges and look for new opportunities for their own realization. The investments are not only about their financial investment but also personal participation in selected projects in following months. Mrs. Marta Nováková, general director of U&SLUNO, is such an investor. She was selected by the Czech television as a perspective person that built and for nearly 20 years has been managing s a booming IT company.
